&blowdry Marketing Campaigns
Nails & Cocktails
In April 2018, &blowdry was relaunching their nail bar and wanted an event centered around the new nails services they offer. We realized clients may be hesitant to try new nail styles so to incentivize the clients' need for a manicure. I created this event, Nails & Cocktails! The event was when a client booked a blowdry, they would receive a complimentary manicure with nail art. With the hop that clients would love their complimentary mani and book another appointment for nails.

Beauty Eggstravaganza
For Easter we wanted to give back to our loyal customers so I created this promo to leave a basket filled with eggs on the front desk. Each egg was filled with promos and bounce backs so each customer upon checkout could pick a special promo. These promos ranged from 15% off their next service or a free gift.

Brow & Lash Bash
To promote the company's microblading & lash extension services, I created this fun, quirky campaign centered around all things eyebrows & eyelashes. We created special promotions and memberships to call to action our clients while incentivizing their purchase.

Prom Preview
Our goal was to bring in high schoolers for half off services so they could preview their look for prom and later book their actual prom look with us. We wanted this event to be fun and memorable for the girls who came.
Starbucks Pitch Campaign
For my advertising campaigns course the Marketing Director of Starbucks tasked us with promoting SBUX food anyway we saw fit. We were briefed via Skype for the campaign, each group was given a hypothetical $5 million budget to keep the ideas under control and realistic. In a class with 60 people, the groups were split into 12 groups of 5 students. From there the class and professor would pick the top three campaigns to present to the Dean, various faculty members, and the Marketing Director. My group's campaign was selected as a top three finalist for for the pitch. Our team eventually lost but it was an amazing opportunity and I am incredibly proud of this campaign. I conducted a focus group by myself for research and had 200+ people take our survey. As well, our main concept and key campaign element was "Mochi Monday", basically the next "cake pop". It was the heart of our campaign and it was my idea. During a brainstorming session we were discussing potential new food items and I said mochi would be a unique treat. I eventually went on to create all of the flavors that correspond with a Starbuck's drink or a pre-existing flavor palette they currently have. I also had a lot of influence on the picnic but the mochi was my main section. Even though we lost, as the Marketing Director was getting on his plane he emailed my professor saying he loved the mochi flavors!

Chicago Help Initiative Writing Campaign
For my PR and advertising writing course we worked with a real client the Chicago Help Initiative. CHI is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hot meals and free healthcare services to the homeless around Chicagoland. For the duration of the quarter we worked solely on writing official documents for CHI and present for the founder of the charity, Jacqueline Hayes. Throughout the quarter we were in constant communication with Ms. Hayes and at the end compiled our group's work into a final presentation that we presented to her. In the group section we had to split up the work and I wrote the goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics section. As well as the timeline and budget. As well, the entire appendix was written by me exclusively.
Pillsbury Promotions Campaign
I took a consumer promotions course at DePaul where I learned how to create and run a successful promotion, contest, sweepstakes, or game of chance. We were prompted to pick a company and run a contest and a giveaway of a free premium. This was my campaign for Pillsbury Halloween cookies.

TURBO NRG Promotions Campaign
For my consumer promotions class we had to create a full promotional campaign for a fictitious company wanting to break through the nutritional "energy bar" sector of the business. This was my full integrated campaign.
